Zygomatic Dental Implants
In cases of severe bone resorption in the upper jaw, when other options of implant treatment are not open. It is done under general anesthesia where a long 5-6 cm implant passes through the sinus. It carries its risk of surgery and advised when no other option possible. Most such cases are managed with sinus grafting and block grafts at our clinic.
Since there implants come out palatally , the prosthesis could interfere with the speech of the patient.
